tps voltage
tps voltage My ls1 camaro currently only hits 99% at wot. (Sometimes 100). Is this fine or will I have problems? Voltage at idle is .53 and at wot is around 4.1. I adjust the tps a little to where I will hit 100% at wot but then that brings my idle voltage above .55 which I read is not good. It is on a 90 mm fre brand throttle body. Thanks
I can't think of anything the PCM does at 100% TPS that it doesn't do at 99% TPS. 4.1V is a little low for WOT. Can you adjust the WOT stop or grind it a little? Stock TBs usually go to around 4.3V at WOT and 4.6 with the bump stop mod.
Check how far the blade is drawn by the pedal, using
a ruler. If it's short of dead center in the throat-face,
fix the mechanical bind(s) - snap adjusters, pedal arm
and possibly the TCS "gizmo", along the cast stop-tang
can all hang you up short of total happiness.
