PCM diagnosis after 98-99+ harness repin
A while back I decided to repin my '98 harness to run a '99+ PCM. I felt like it went smooth. We worked slowly, labled each and every wire before pulling them and repinning. I am running on a speed density setup, so I deleted the pins for my maf, a/c, egr, etc.
Today I finally got the last piece to my setup. I put everything together, turned my kill switch to ON, plugged in my laptop...could not connect to my PCM. I checked my HPTuners cables, still the same. I went to reset the pcm and found that the PCM Batt fuse was blown. After talking with a buddy and searching on here...I double checked every ground. They're all snug. I even double checked the grounds in the PCM connectors...good to go. The fuse blows as soon as it slides in. The pcm I bought from a buddy, and it came out of a running '01 camaro with just over 100k miles. I hear it's unlikely and uncommon for a failure like this...but what are the options?
I'll be plugging the pcm into my buddies camaro to verify tomorrow...but if that's not it, I'm out of ideas.

Forgot to add:
-Fuel pump doesn't prime
-Motor will turn over
-I have a Racetronix hotwire kit, so power comes straight from the alternator
-Car ran and drove fine before the repin (meaning the grounds weren't the issue before)

After swapping back to a stock '98 harness and my old pcm, the car fired right up. Now that this repinned harness is out if the car, I can unloom it and redo it properly. After I get a success with that...I'll try the swap again. For now though...the car runs, and I'm just gonna try to make a track day before the season is over.

No I don't. I used a step by step repin guide from a shop. From what I read the instructions I used had success with quite a few people. It's probably something I overlooked.
