FAST Intake Manifold HELP!!
IMO I wouldn't trust that the PO did anything the "right way". Last 2 cars I bought that had full exhaust or ANY modification I had dyno tuned...good thing I did. Better safe than sorry.
If the shop knows their head from their *** they should be able to check the tune and see what has been changed from a stock tune and most likely do it for free.
I bought an 04 GTO that the PO told be had been "dyno tuned". I brought it to a reputable shop, which he checked the tune and the only thing that was done was the fan settings were set up to come on sooner and cats deleted...that's ALL. This was on a CAI/full exhaust with no cats. Needless to say after a proper dyno tune things were much better. Same went for my current Z28...it had same mods and NO tune. It was running fairly lean before a proper tune.

Our you can fix it by epoxying the front of the top and the back of bottom of the tb to the throttle blade to reduce the airflow around the blade. Be sure to put wax on the throttle blade so you can open it after the epoxy has dried to the tb. Sand it up till it just has a tiny bit of epoxy left to seal the blade.
Ps....be sure to clean and where the epoxy is being applied.
if not then he has a vac leak, the tune will need to be changed though, RAF should be addressed as well as TC
Then I got a NW 102 and holy **** with a couple hours of tuning and adjusting the blade I had it damn near perfect lol
im hoping now that this new MSD intake theyre coming out with doesnt completely kick the fast 102's *** and make me want one of them. I dont think it will as theres only so much real estate under the cowl for an intake but well see
