Default IAC count question

I've been having a annoying hanging idle while rolling problem with my car since getting it tuned. Its not consistent about doing it. I've logged IAC counts with hptuners and the car will actually go to 0 sitting still with it idling normally. I haven't logged while driving yet but doesn't that mean its closed? Since its running with it closed and I don't have a hole in the TB doesn't that mean I have a vaccumm leak?

If your IAC is at zero then your TB set screw will most likely need to be adjusted.

On the way to getting tuned(5 hours) it didn't have that problem butafter starting home it had that problem so if it was that shouldn't I have had the issue before hand.

They either adjusted your set screw or possibly adjusted the iac effective area table if your IAC's werent like that before. Those are two things will change your IAC steps or counts.

I never logged the iac counts before the tune I've just been trying to figure out the intermittent hanging idle probably while rolling. Should I try turning the set screw out and see if it fixes it ?

After spraying some starting fluid around the bottom of the Intake my stfts start to raise by 15 percent until I stop spraying the starting fluid but the idle doesn't change? That has to be a small leak wouldn't it ?

You mean they go down (more negative) by 15%...?

Yes, that's a leak... too much air... it is causing your IAC count to goto zero (PCM is trying to reduce air by closing IACV).

Yea they raise 15 percent into the negative. I replaced the intake seals last night but I did have a pcv valve grommet causing a vacuum leak before so I fixed that then adjusted the set screw and got IAC counts at 30. It still has the hanging idle just now its at 1400 instead of 1600 to 1800. The vacuum leaks must have messed with the tune.
