Default 09 escalade 6.2, who to tune /expected gains?

Last one I had done was for a 5.3, tuned by Nelson, was very happy with it. I've read that there's not much to gained from tuning one of these 6.2/6 speeds, but then I just saw a video where they dynoed around 30hp! So does that put it on the edge or what? I whipped the snot out of my 5.3 (also in a escalade) everyday upto 200k on stock motor and trans till I sold it. For now I'll just do an intake and exhaust, will be a while before cam/converter (gotta finish the car first=) so looking for recommendations /results from you all. Thanks

We usually see 25-30hp from tuning alone but the big gains are from the transmission tuning IMO.

I loved how the 4l60e responded to the tune, I've read that the 6 speeds see a big improvement from the tune, could you pm me a quote on What it would cost tune this truck, 2009 escalade awd. Thanks

+1... I agree. I have a 2012 Denali Sierra and they leave alot out. Transmission tuning, some torque management and even the rpm shift points after 1st gear are pretty low and leave lots of potential.

So they do in fact respond as well as the older gen 3 motors, just the 6 speed really shines with the tune
