Need help!!! Wanting to run an ls1 with a newer e67 ecm
anybody know what all is involved to convert my ls1 to run with an e67 ecm? i already have it running with the stock p01 ecu but i want to upgrade to a ecm with faster data transfer so i can use my AIM mxl dash. i have found a 24x to 58x relucter conversion from Lingenfelter just wondering if anyone knows what else would be required. Thanks in advance

The "R" in the part number refers to the part that is the 24x to 58x conversion
"The company also offers the TRG-002-R 24X to 58X Trigger Conversion Module (P/N L460125206), which allows earlier engines to be installed in newer cars." http://www.autoserviceprofessional.c...e-installation

24X to 58X conversion module
Sorry but we never went to production with that product. We made prototypes and ran them on the dyno. When we sent beta-test units out we ran into odd behavior that we could not replicate on the dyno or the test bench and none of the beta-testers were able to bring the vehicles to us.
Given what we thought was the small market for this product it was put on the back burner to make room for other product development projects.
Where are you located and what is your timing (when do you need one)?

R version of TRG
Sorry, but I couldn't have one in that much time and we would really want it to be someone local so we could see what is going on if any problems did occur.
Your fastest option is probably going to be to swap the crank reluctor and cam gear in the engine. Another option would be to change engine controls (change ECM and harness) but that is more complicated and likely costly.
Regards,
