How to swap from a '98 PCM to a '99 PCM (0411) I have read several inquiries about how to swap from a '98 PCM to a '99-'02 (0411) PCM by rewiring the harness. I found the old thread on it here:

I have done this myself and highly suggest first buying a spare set of the Red and Blue connectors. That way you can just move one wire at a time instead of having a nightmare of loose wires.
(To clean up the thread I deleted the "progress" posts.)
If you try it, double check everything and new brews until afterwards.
