Default 98 to 99 PCM Swap with plastic tank

Ok I repinned my 98 harness and have it setup working great. I have put in a tank from a 00 and a new fuel canister with fuel pump. Is there anything that needs to be done in the PCM to get the fuel gauge to work? Swapping the cluster is not an option since this is a 31k mile car and would like it to show it. Thanks for any help

I didn't swap tanks but did repin my harness. When I bought my new pcm it came with the fuel segment swap completed to fix the fuel level issue. Not sure if that applies since you swapped tanks also.

One of the very first 98 to 99 pcm swap I done the customer changed his tank to a plastic one and his fuel gauge worked. Thats the only experience I have with it, I know with the 98 tank I have to redo the fuel gauge segment in order for it to work.
