you sure you got that thing degreed in or dot to dot? I would say thte misfires code is normal but not with a stealth cam. Maybe double check all electrical connections? Did anything funny happen during the install? is the EWP shorting anything out? Something is definatly wrong, I would not drive the car until it is resolved. Double check everything you did on the install.

EWP shorting ?? Sometimes it makes a funky sound . . . . can you give me a hint as to what I would be shorting out ? It was a two wire install , power to wiring harness in the engine bay and ground to ground post by the same power harness box / fuse box area. . .

I did a cylinder balance test with efi live and nothing jumps out and screams at me . . .

I checked the headers for leeks and they all look tight , no soot on any of the primaries or below and they sount tight.

I rechecked the coilpacks and there all in the right order .

The o2's under the car look good but im going to do a quick search to see how I can givem a test while its up in the air .

Im really confused about the knock sensor codes

A funky ground could cause a bunch of weird electrical problems is your ground for the EWP good? You have so many problems it just seems that something electrical may be happening. Any wiring harnesses unplugged? Do you still have the original ground at the ground post where the EWP hooks up? Anything funny happen during your install?
Blow any fuses?

You know something changed with your install so worse case scenario go back and double check everything even though that will take alot of time.

I grounded the ewp at the post on the drivers side wheel well ( existing ground ) . I was instructed to use a power wire ( switched 12v ) in the fuse box closest to the front end also onthe drivers side . It is the fat pink wire that goes into the ignition relay according to the fuse box lid.

Nothing funny happened in the install . . . everything seemed smooth. I was worried about pinching the o ring on the pickup tube but I have good pressure . .

I cant see any wiring harnesses unplugged . . any hot ones I should check ??

What size pushrods should be used with the stealth II cam ?? 7.4 ?

Here are some pics

I spent hours going over the engine compartment top to bottom , no burnt wires or pinched wires I could see anywere.

Heres the wire I think could possible be the culprit. I had to pry the **** outa that crappy bracket back there and may have done some damage . . . .anybody know what this goes to?? Its the drivers side right behind the valve cover.

Heres the grounf for the ewp

Heres the fusebox. I used the pink wire that goes to the ignition

On that first pick about the prying of the harness,, guess what hehe, thats your knock sensor connector, I can tell because it has that little metal bracket on it that slides onto the back of the intake. I also circled the knock sensors for ya and re-attached your pic. I would definatly start checking there, also right there is your MAP sensor and all kincs of vacuum tubes, Make sure they are all plugged in. But I bet you damaged the knock sensor harness somehow, especially cause of you knock retard and your knock sensor codes.

Im sure your grounds are ok sharing the same post, I have shitloads of grounds in the same spot on my car.

Let us know what you find.

If yours is messed up I happen to have my stock harness as a new one came with my motor. If you need it let me know.

Also here is a pic of it so you can see how that wire end goes to the knock sensors

Thanks man u have been a HUGE help with this.

When i was prying back there it was dark and I didnt even see the wiring.

Do you think having the ewp saudered (sp) to the ignition wire in the fuse box may also be part of the problem ??

Probably not but with all those knock sensor codes I bet fixing that will make your car run right at least, those o2 codes may be something else.

Mike, does harness plug into these type of LS1 Knock Sensors I have attached a pic below. If it does attach to these type of KS then I'd like to buy that from you.

yeah it does plug into that type of plug. I'll just give you the plug if you want to pay for shipping which if boxed up real nice and neat might be $15.00?
