evap code I hope this is the right place for this if not mods please move
I have a friend with a g8 throwing a evap code. I believe it is the canisters above the tank causing it i havnent pulled the code for him but I know dropping the tank was discussed to fix the issue at the shop he took it to.
the reason this post is here, his remote start doesnt work and he was told its linked to the check engine light (im not sure on this) and this is causing it to be disabled. He wanst to know if I can disable the code (i know I can) with hptuners and if that will allow his remote start to work again.
