Default e38 throttle dropout

I gotta 6.0 e38 truck engine in a 73 Camaro with a t-56. In the process of tuning it, been driving it around and sometimes the throttle goes to idle. No throttle codes but lights the light. Ihave enabled all the throttle codes I could find but it has not done it since. If I kill power to the pcm it would reset and work. Anybody else have any prob like this?

Did you use a manual OS tune? I see that alot when someone runs an auto tune with a manual.

Didn't see anything in the os for trans. I do have it switched to manual in the ecm trans type. Since the ecm is e38 I believe it also controlled the trans, it was a auto truck, is this right? should it be set back to auto? Thanks

E38 only controls the engine. The issue with an auto tune its looking for a TCM thats not there. On all the swaps I tune with E38 and manual or non computer controlled trans I always use a ECM from a manual vette. Just changing the drop box to manual in the ECM doesnt do the same as running a manual tune.

Ok, thanks. Guess I will have to look for a different ecm. You would have thought somebody would have developed a patch for that seeing how many truck e38's are out there.
