Screen or no Screen on MAF???

So I have a Lingenfelter 100mm MAF with out the screen I purchased on a corvette forum from someone who went SD. As stated it does not have a screen so my question is will this effect anything significantly? I can not locate a screen for the MAF and am not entirely sure if they make one for this specific one. Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks guys

Screens always seem to help the card style MAF's stability. Google Saxon PC for a screen custom made to whatever size and thickness you want. What they sell is more of an air flow straightener than a screen.

On a 100mm card maf a screen is good for low speed stability Saxon is where I got mine
