LS EFI System Transplant help On the fence choosing a EFI transplant kit for my 67 Corvette, installing a 2008 LS7 with West Coast Cylinder's stage II heads, comp cam Dur @ .050 281 289 112 Lobe Sep & 650 lift, LSX FAST intake and 1023 TB. Close ratio magnum T56. Choosing between FAST EZ-EFI, Terminator LS MPFI Kit or flashing the original computer. Would like suggestion or experience with EFI transplant systems. Building mainly a street car and occasionally auto crossing.
The E38 controller used by GM for the LS7 Corvettes is very adequate for a "bolt-on" engine. You can spend more on the aftermarket ECMs and they will give you more features (like closed loop at wide open throttle).
Ultimately you will need to make your own decision if the extra money is offset by the additional features for your particular build.
