PCM re-pin question!!
Almost of the colors of the "IC control" wires (2126,2124,2128,2122) are mix matched. The circuit # and function ID are the same, but colors are wrong. Due I trust the color or the circuit #?????
Just to elaborate here's an example.
'97 PCM
Pin #Red 13 Color-PPL/WHT Circuit #2122 Description-Injector #2 Control
'03 PCM
Pin# Red 67 Color RED/WHT Circuit #2122 Description IC 2 Control
'03 PCM
Pin# Red 67 Color PPL/WHT Circuit #2128 Description-IC 8 Control
Do I put the PPL/WHT wire in the first option or the second option? I'm assuming the pin and circuit # are more important than the color but I need some confirmation. Thanks.
I used the pinout diagrams located here:

If you look at the '97 pinout and compare it to the '03 you'll see the color differences. I would if the colors are wrong and it forced me to mis-label???

This forum has on old thread on how to re-pin from '98 to '99+:

I updated one post a bit to add one missed wire and a typo. That thread might help you.
To answer your question, you must trust the Circuit # and the original pin #. The wire color is meaningless as GM obviously changed the color of various circuits.
