Need someone with a lot of smarts. Been needing to reset my computer out of trim mode back to custom tune. Unhooking battery hasn't helped. Was surfing around and ran across this comment,which I will add at the end of my venting.Havent been on here long,and not trying to kiss ***, I really honestly trust you guys on here. The combined knowledge on this site is ridiculous. My car is a 98 ss with a custom tune that seems to be hiding for some reason. The only thing that has been done is I added a centerforce clutch (which I broke in properly) And replaced two o2 sensors. Now the car feels stock.Unhooked battery again. Being disabled and on fixed income, cant keep spending money to go sideways. Don't mind saving for upgrades. But this is nerve racking.
Well this is what I was told to do by an LS tech......please let me know if its right
(((disconnecting the bat. in an ls1 will not reset the comp. the only way you can do it is with a programmer of some sort, or turning the key to acc and pulling the pcm bat fuse and the pcm ign fuse then turn key off and plug fuses back in.)))
Does that sound right to you guys?

You have been misinformed by this guy who is giving you all of that info.
I really don't know what you are asking or what you are trying to accomplish..
There are no hidden tunes in the computer to unlock, no trim mode etc..
