please help. idle/staying running problem.
please help. idle/staying running problem. ok here it is. ive got a 2001 camaro. 224/224 .581/. 581 on a 112lsa cam and tea heads stage 1.5. i just took the 6 speed out and put a t-400 in it. when i tune the car it runs perfect for about 15 start ups. then after that it just gets worse and worse. like it doesnt want to stay running? anybody got any suggestions? i dont want to have to tune my car every 4 days. lol TIA
Most likely it's the LTFT's being off and/or VE tuning. For the first start ups the PCM does not have open loop LTFT's learned so everything will run fine. If there is an issue, such as a major exhaust leak, it will show itself more and more as the LTFT's will read false lean.
