tbss open loop maf only tune problem..
Hey guys i been tunning my girls ss for a few weeks. Ive got the maf dialed in to 1-2% error via wideband tuning. It drives great. But ive been having an issue with it on start up.
When cold it usually starts right up perfect. But once warm it will sometimes go to start and thin right before it fires up it will kick back. Sometimes kick back once ot twice before starting. It comes and goes but usually worse when warm after a good drive. What are your thoughts??
Im thinking maybe the lower maf curve? I ran the maf curve off like the stock one in the lower untouched maf curve. Still does it. All timing on start up is back to stock and no fix. I even pulled 2° on start up table no fix possibly got worse i believe. What usually caused a harder start with a kick back like this? Just really wierd. Starter teeth are chewed up pretty good bc of this as well.
Last thing here a list of mods:
Stock ls2, under drive pulley, slp catback, no cats, electric fans, nitrous, and a custom built fenderwell exit to front air dam cai. Filter is right in front of maf behind front bumper basicly 1' further down cai than stock location.
If u can help id appreciate it thanks guys.
