Car shifting strange. Re-tune?

I bought a 2001 a4 camaro which was tuned by the previous owner using a wideband. After a week it threw codes for front o2 sensors. Car started to shift slowly and not shift at WOT. Now it takes about 12 seconds to shift and wont shift into 4th. Is this "limp home mode"?. Maf was ported and descreened as well. Can a mail order tuner fix the problem by tuning car for open loop and ignore the o2 sensors? Thanks.

From what your describing I do not think I mail order tune is going to fix your issues.

Ok dropped car off at local trans repair shop hopefully they will find the issue.

Quick update. They did a stock rebuild of the trans. Fixed all of the issues except the car still revs up quick and hits limiter at full throttle only. Would this be a tuning issue?

I don't know what you mean by "still revs up quick", but if the shift tables are not set up correctly, you will hit the limiter before it shifts.

I meant when i hit full throttle it revs up but it feels like the engine isnt in gear so it instally hits rev limiter

If you are confident of the rebuild----If you are driving along and mash the gas WOT, the trans will downshift and if the shift table is not correct, it will hit the limiter. If that's not it, you still have trans problems.
