98 Trans Am won't idle, hard to start
The problem started last fall out of the blue. The car will start but not easily. If I keep my foot on the gas or will run smoothly around 2000rpm but as soon as I let off it dies.
I suspected fuel filter and replaced. No change.
I then tested fuel pressure. I am getting 58-60 while running with no drops or dips.
No SES light
The car does not get driven much but gas has stabil over winter.
I am thinking of trying a TPS and IAC. I'm not sure they were ever replaced.
Any ideas?

It sounds very vacuum leak-ish. One, because it started suddenly. Two, because giving it just a little throttle alleviates it.
The PCV suggestion above is fundamentally a vacuum leak as well. Brake booster hose, rear of intake manifold, AC vacuum line, evap canister purge line, fuel injector O-rings. Lots of potential for leaks that can cause fits.
