Default CASE Relearn Solve My Problem?

I just did a Ls2 swap(24x) in my 2002 Trans Am w/4l80e and am running the knock/cam sensor conversion harness.

My issue is the trans is in limp mode (stuck in 2nd gear) and it misfires when driving. No codes are thrown as my misfire tables have been zeroed out due to the high stall.

Will the CASE relearn (crank sensor relearn) fix my issue? I confirmed 12 volts to the trans wiring harness as well.

How was the 80 swap done, adapter harness, harness re-pin? Did you get the segment swap done in the pcm? A case relearn will not fix the transmission IMO.

It was done with the speartech harness and a segment swap via HPTuners about a year ago. Being that nothing has changed on the trans and was running perfect before pulling out the Ls1... The only thing I could think that is causing the problems is the crank sensor being out of wack. The motor does have a misfire for sure when trying to cruise around 3k rpms... But no codes as the tables are zeroed out. One of my buddies had the same problem after a motor swap and said the relearn fixed the limp mode and engine issue... Is this common?

CASE relearn will not fix your issues. The relearn is only for diagnostics, will not fix actual misfires. Transmission issues are not even related to this.

Well if the trans connections havent changed but I am running a completely different motor.... Is there something in the tune or the segment swap that needs to be changed? The car was running perfect with the 4l80e before the Ls2 swap.

I confirmed that the speedo is reading correctly via HP tuners on the first drive as well. So that leads me to believe the speed sensors are working properly.

If it worked before then start looking at grounds or wiring since something from the swap changed something. The trans doesn't care or know what motor is in front of it.

Update: The tuner enabled my trans codes as they were disabled and i have the following codes: P0748 p0753

Based on that, would you guys deem i need a new solenoid and that the trans is indeed getting power? Tuner thinks solenoid is bad and that is whats causing the limp mode. Any ideas?

Any thoughts?

Going to recheck the harness plug on the trans and make sure its not upside down as the clip is broken and can allow that
