Mail order tuning ? I recently sent my PCM in for a mail order tune after adding a cam, and after getting it back I now have no throttle response. Car cranks and idles fine but give it throttle and nothing. Could they have done this when they put the tune in for the cam because they are telling me there is nothing they do that would cause the throttle to not respond.
Sounds like it's lean. When you're lean in the 1200-1600 range, there is no throttle response. Add 2% fuel and it'll be fine. It's a balance between being lean enough for the cam to idle and operate correctly off-idle and being so lean, you lose throttle response.
So it's a electronically controlled TB and not mechanical?
