coolant light on my 98 ws6 has been on since I bought it however popped the cap off the radiator (cold of course) and fluid was all the way to the top. the sensor must be busted can anyone point out to me where it is and is it a PITA to change?

About 2 inches below the radiator cap on the back side of the radiator. Held in with a wire clip. You can usually take them out and clean them with steel wool or a scotch brite pad. Unpluging the sensor will kill the light also.
