HP Tuner question I've got a ECM with a tune that has my VATS off and a couple other items modified. If I purchase HPTuners can i copy that file and reuse it on another ECM?
I have never tuned a car with a ECU but not totally clueless either....

There are a lot of different operating systems for the LS1 based cars and trucks. Even the same model year C5 Corvette can have different operating systems. You need to use the correct operating system that your wiring harness is pinned for.
HP Tuners does have a feature to where you can compare a file to the ECM that you are modifying. It will show which values are the same and which values are different. Then you can copy and paste the individual tables.
So the answer to your question - you don't want to do a "write entire" from a known tune to another ECM, but if the operating systems are similar enough you can copy and paste individual tables to share changes from one ECM to another.
