Do I need a new tune?
Ok guys I purchased a procharged 2000 trans am about a month ago and the guy I purchased it from had a very restrictive (quiet) exhaust on it almost sounds stock. It's starting to bother me and looking to upgrade to something a lil more flowing and or louder. Does anyone know if a new tune will be in order after I install a new muffler? Car put down 580 at rear wheels the tuner said it was a very safe tune. Thanks in advance

Nice car man!
If it were me, I'd put an electric cutout on it. You can open it all the way with just a flick of a switch from inside the car, or open it just a little to make it just barely louder. That way you can still drive around sounding stock for unassuming fellows that haven't seen your fmic yet and light them up. When you open it, they'll know something's up lol
