Couple of days ago car running strong 2002 procharged A4. Then all of a sudden it buckles some and catches its breath. Now it's cooler temps outside here and this morning I try to start it up then 2-3 seconds it slowly dies. I have fuel pressure hear fuel pump and fuel guage reading 50-55 psi, no codes, I can't think of what else it could be. Any thoughts?

I just wanted to add that the problem first started driving around town all the gauges seemed normal them just driving noticed a sputter and like it wanted to die, but made it home in time, Now this morning, it starts, but slowly dies.

I did recently remove plugs and wires, but made sure carefully to hear click when putting them back on.

Fuel pressure should hold constant 58 psig at idle. If it's dropping to 50 psi then that's your problem.

 

Thanks for the reply, I forgot to plug in the MAF sensor, problem solved. Fuel pressure still holds 60psi @ idle. Thanks again.
