Catalyst Not Ready I changed the battery in my GTO about a month or so ago. I have smog that is due but I keep getting Catalyst not ready. I have driven the car at least 1000 miles since installing the new battery. I know GM has a drive cycle and I tried following that best I could. It's difficult to find places around here to drive 55 MPH and then slow down to 20. The car has been through various driving conditions and speeds. Sometimes when I check with an OBD2 reader it says everything is ready, but then when I recheck it says 1 INC catalyst.
The car does have a tune so I am not sure if it needs to be reflashed but I have unhooked the prior battery before and haven't had an issue.
Usually how long do I need to drive before the catalyst are ready?
