2013 1LE What RPM's
This may seem like a stupid question to some but i'm still learning about the LS3 5th gens in comparison to my LS1 4th gen.
The car is a 2013 1LE, so please keep in mind the gearing is a little different. When my warranty is over I plan to get exhaust and tune, when I do go for the tune I would like to raise the rpm's a bit over what the factory rev-limiter is set to. What is a safe, but more than factory, rpm to retune to?
I have NOT really opened this car up much but I believe it currently sits at 6200rpms and it feels like the car has not reached its full potential before I have to shift, feels like it is still pulling strong when the rev limiter kicks in...again i believe it's 6200rpms or close to it when im topped out and have to shift.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, just trying to get some knowledge on what others have tuned theres too and been just fine.

Although I wouldn't be afraid to rev that to 65-6600 if necessary.

Absolutely get the RPM bumped up if it is not dropping off power. You want the shifting to act like a seesaw. You want to go over the peak just enough to come down at a similar place on the low of the next gear. Always stay near peak is the name of the game
