Pedal Unresponsive?
Pedal Unresponsive? Having an issue with my 1998 Camaro
It is LS2 swapped running stock 98 ECM and a level 6 RPM 4l65e trans. Yes it does have the ASR system. It has been tuned and runs like a raped ape.
Every so often when on the highway running about 70-80 MPH I floor it and the car doesn't react.
No misfire no check engine light no asr or low traction lamps, the car just acts like your not on the pedal.
I'm leaning towards this being an ASR issue but typically when that's engaging there's some pedal feedback where it resists being pressed.
When the car acts up typically if you let off the pedal for a bit and then hit it again it stops acting stupid and takes off again like nothing wrong ever happened.

Posting ideas of what it could be would be a start.
I punch it. TPS shows % increase but the car does NOTHING, no change in RPM, Speedo, no misfires, its completely unresponsive.
Its a little difficult to do it and be looking down at my snap on to monitor every item while driving and trying to get the car to 'act up'.

If you want someone to help you here we need to be able to look at the live data when it is unresponsive. That means you will need to use a scanner that will record data for playback that we can look at. Something like HP Tuners or EFI Live. How else can anyone on a forum assist with the problem.
