holley efi. erl 427 randomly loses rpm signal.
car runs terrible. The idle hunts because the car loses rpm signal at random. i do the trick to see if its the cam sensor or the crank sensor. with ignition parameters set to 24x reluctor, no cam sensor and paired injection the problem was the exact same. which told me the crank sensor was bad. swapped it out, car runs like a dream, starts and idles, gets on the converter and everything. shut the car off let it sit while i mess with some other things for an hour or two and come back start it to drive it and its right back to hard start, runs like crap, rpm signal errors out and just dies when trying to get it on the converter. i did the wiggle test on crank position sensor and it produces no results. not sure if i killed another crank sensor, and if so how would i do that? please help. anyone have a napa crank shaft sensor go bad right away?

Ended up being like 4 tiny things wrong. Switched to oem sensor, re did the pigtail, the harness relay was going bad and added more grounds. Seems to be fixed now
