P0121..

Fellas,

Scanned the SES light and this code popped up. Car is a 2000 WS6 H/C and tuned. Had no issues for months and this code finally popped up out of nowhere.

P0121...throttle/pedal position sensor A circuit range... i did a search and couldnt find anything besides its a code that randomly pops up.

Any input?? Thanks..

TPS is a simple 3 wire circuit. Easy to test with a volt meter. 1 wire +5V. 1 wire ground and one wire that sweeps from ~.5V to ~4.5V from 0% to 100% throttle. Most good scanners will log both TPS% and TPS Voltage too.

The P0121 code is caused by the low manifold vacuum caused by the cam. Just raise the P0121 Error Max Map in the tune to be greater than your idle in gear Map KPA.

When i got this code before, this is exactly what it was.
