Default map to enable pe

In ls1edit 1.4, my "map to enable pe" is set at 15. I noticed while logging that it goes into pe mode very easily at around 45% throttle.....what do i need this set at to delay pe mode a bit? Incon car btw

isn't there a place where you specify at what throttle position to enable PE?

I think the TPS vs PE tables are under the headings WOT Hot and Cold at the bottom of the power enrichment area. I am interested in why you are tuning a delay in. There is also a delay setting that you can specify the time until PE comes in. Do you think that would help with fueling during spool up?

For whatever reason the WOT cold table is the only one that seems to impact my tune. It seems like the hot table should be used (based on the hot temp#), but it just sticks with the cold table.

Your walking a fine line trying to keep it out of PE. If you get to aggresive with it and it runs 14.7 while in the boost bad things can happen. It seems like it would be very difficult to get right on a turbo car (with the stock PCM).

I've never even noticed the MAP to enable setting. I wonder if just setting that to 100 or 105 would work well on a FI car.

I was gonna try to monkey with it today but a damn finger broke on the pressure plate on my dually. I had to start it in gear at the red lights to get it home 60 miles. It has a granny gear and 4.11 gear and started fine. Not impressive until you factor in the trailor I was towing with 15k lbs on it!!!!!!!!!!!! Ford makes a helluva starter!!!!

I use the TPS vs PE cold table. I have the TPS level set at 40% (instead of 60 % as the stock setting are) otherwise the car will go real lean (18:1) for a quarter of second or so. This is with 50 lb injectors

The cold table has to be used because the 142 deg to enable the hot table is in deg C not F. This was discussed on the ls1-edit mailing list at least a year ago (yes there is some good data on there every once in a while). This one an Incon kit.

MAP to enable PE is a minimum threshold. If MAP is above this value then PE is allowed. Stock setting of 15 should be fine on any LS1.

WOT cold/hot temp is coolant temp in *C. Most folks seem to use the WOT table to tune the transition into PE mode.

Wow, when they say hot they mean hot. 288* is some pretty hot coolant.

Mine is set to 65kpa stock. That is pretty weak. How come your map enable pe is so low compared to mine? I am sure that with my cam that will cause some lean issues.
