Complete Newbie - which cable? Hi,
I wish to take a look at my auto TCC lockup settings in the PCM of my 2001 WS6 as she's currently locking up at too low a speed for my liking (anything above 45mph in 3rd or 4th gear) and I wish to disable the TCC in third and set it to around 48-50 mph for fourth. There is a handy guide on this forum on how to do that.
I have a windows 8 laptop currently - but what kind of cable do I need to connect to my obd2 socket? I've found plenty of USB to OBD2 cables, but unsure if these are suitable/compatible as some sites are saying you need some form of processor/convertor in the cable before HP tuners can read the data.
