tablet display?
tablet display? Whats up guys, i am picking up hp tuners for myself for logging purposes and also for small adjustments but my main concern is i HATE the factory gauges because the are inaccurate. I want to switch to holley but because of emissions i can not. Is anyone using a small tablet so they can display all of this information? ill keep my lap top for making changes but just purely want a display.
A 2din android radio with an elm adapter running an app like Torque sounds like what you are looking for. I have tried this sort of thing and it does work. However, pairing the OBD app of your flavor between the radio and the adapter is not always fast or convenient. Also, depending on the radio and music apps, it could interfere with listening to music. This can most definitely make for a really clean install, if you are willing to deal with the minor associated hassles.
