Default Cylinder 8 misfire

I have been trying to figure out why my 8th cylinder is missing under WOT. I have done a leak down of the cylinder 80-90% compression I have swapped out plugs, coils, injectors and nothing has made it stop. Any one that has VCM scanner I have the .hpl file of my last run, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The data log does not show anything to help you find the misfire.

Have you checked the basics?

Are you getting spark to plug 8?
Are you getting fuel?
Have you done a compression test?

Have you checked for codes?

Get back to us with the info and we can point you in the right direction.

On my phone so I can't open the log. if You have Missfire it can show up as a rich spike in the log. if you have swapped injectors and coils and the missed stayed in #8 that only leaves compression or the computer. A difference in compression between cylinders can cause a Missfire. If fuel isn't being commanded at the right time or amount you can get a misfire (faulty computer) same with spark. Drag on the motor can also Show up as a missfire.

After I replace the plugs and wires, Im assuming disconnect the battery to reset the PCM and see if the code comes back?

With no real symptoms of misfire, how will I know the code is fixed?
