Start-up Tune Suggestions....
Start-up Tune Suggestions.... Hey - I'm installing a new camshaft that has 12 deg. less overlap than the current cam, lift is about the same. My tune is open-loop SD and I'd like some suggestions on what to do with the current tune (VE table) for first start with the new cam. Or should I just fire it with the current tune and start logging? What do you guys think?
I'd download a couple of tunes from tune repository and use the compare feature to just see what's different. If they aren't that different then just fire it up and log. If they are, then I'd sort of blend in areas like idle so you can get it to stay running but then I'd trust my own table after that
