Default Tuning newb!

Hi everyone. I know I've searched this a bunch but still nothing really close to what I'm curious about.
I just bought hptuners pro and I'm wanting to be able to put a safe tune on my newly installed cam without buying a wide band. Can I tune it without for now and have it still be safe? If not why would it not be included or recommend with the kit?
My mods are 233/239 cam and fast 92mm among other bolt ons. Any help at all would be great
thanks

You can not tune WOT safely without a wideband. HPT is just a tuning tool, it takes more than a single tool to do almost any job is the best way to describe it.

How are you going to determine what your changes to air/fuel are doing while doing you're "base" tune if you have no idea what it is?

like I said I don't know anything about tuning. Thought maybe I could get a general idea and then pick up the wideband for further fine tuning. I wouldn't know what my changes are without a wideband I get it
