Advice on ECM Hello Everyone,
Sorry if I am asking questions that have been covered. I have a Gen-4 5.3L 24X, 1X from a 2006 Trailblazer. I will put it in a 96 Sonoma. I was given
a 12589462 Ecm by a friend so I would like to use it, but I also want to
run A/C, E85(flex) and possibly 2.0 or 3 bar do to maybe turbocharging later.
Also would like to run a 4L80E. The Ecm is hdw #12589161, codes YHZP.
I could go throttle cable or DBW. Prefer DBW. It is believed that the Ecm
came from a 2005 Sierra 1500. Hope I have given enough info here.
Would this Ecm be a good candidate for my project? I am new to gen 3,
gen 4 and don't want to miss anything! Any advice appreciated!
