HP and boost controller questions.
So I have a holley HP and all the inputs are being used.
So my question is can I double the spring pressures without running dome pressure and the sensor?.
At the moment just running turbo compressor housing to bottom ports on WG w/6lbs springs i.e spring pressure.
if I run the top ports of WG's to Holley/Mac boost cylinder/controller.Then controller through the Holley ecu to achieve more pounds then what the springs are. Can I do that without having to use Dome pressure?
Thanks
But I have found my answer, Yes!. Running the loop function instead of dome pressure will get you double the spring #'s. I had my 6# springs up to 12#'s. Was at 80+% duty on the 6# springs on 12 #'s. It did what I wanted it to do. I had my 10# springs running 18# of boost @75%. I just switched out to 14-16# springs, looking for 25-30#. Trying to do this with out co2.
