Jake 3.8 buick 2003 Pulled out eng and tran put in other car same cars. No power to fuel starter or lights. in anti theft mode. tried all the re sets. none worked. they only work on a car that has been started before. If I switch the ecm and the chip by the air filter from wrecked car and put in new car. then use the learn reset. Both cars are 2003 buick lesabre customs. 3800 Now the one I am putting in I can tell was a rental car engine cause its shuts down at 105 mph. and the car its going in is a factor grandmas car with blown head gasket but it did start. both cars did before So i changed the chip to the one from the wrecked car. its a round deal next to the air filter. Not the chip it self the whole thing that the gas peddel and cruise control hook up to. used this link https://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagn...procedure.html over and over. but before the battery went dead We got lights. I pulled out the ecm from wrecked car last night just in case I have to swap that. Re programing the computer I found out only the dealer can do. its starts at 400 bucks and up. All your shops can only do what the computer is set for to reset. I will let you know if this works but getting lights tells me its re programing now
