01 Vette - PCM replacement, initial codes Hi All -
I am a victim of a locked tune, went ahead and bought a PCM from LSX Power Tuning, with my VIN supposedly flashed into it.
Went ahead and swapped it, but when I turn the key to the run position, (I don't try to start) I get service traction control, the gas gauge shows empty, I get low fuel alarm, and maybe one or two other messages on the DIC.
I've never done this before, and I don't want to waste the tuners time, is this normal? I'm assuming there is a couple other things that need to be adjusted for the new PCM to be integrated. Or - did I get a bum PCM?

Yup - that's exactly what the guy did, he put my 01 Vette VIN on top of a Camaro OS. Made a bunch of extra work for the tuner!!

We pulled up your order and we messed up, we had a stock 2001 camaro tune and your stock tune pulled up and clicked the camaro tune (right next to each other) when we flashed your pcm. 100% our fault. Please give us a call so we can make this right.
Some may say this is bad for LSX Power Tuning but it is an opportunity to show how well these guys handle an issue when it arises. Everyone has issues and it's these times they are put out in there real character. LPT is always on here helping out and I have experienced this several times with them.

My guy eventually put the correct OS in and I'm just happy the car is up and running, running pretty well at that.
