Car is a 2000 camaro with a 4l80 swap using the speartech harness. Having issues with the converter staying locked up. Converter locks under load, ie. accelerating, and unlocks once your back cruising. Only help I have been given so far is that it is a tune issue. Done messing with it and want to know who is pretty savy with this swap. Any recommendations?

u need to swap to a stock 4l80e tune and see how it does. I'm guessing lockup and tps are not matching exactly. hinse the reason its locking up under more tps% than less.

Does the transmission have the line to lube mods done? Depth of converter into pump?

I would suggest unhooking the lockup wire and see if the converter still locks.

It's a jakes performance 80e with transbrake. Converter spacing should be good.

yea I doubt its anything mechanical like that. I take it u don't have access to tuning software? post up a tune if u do.

You mean off the gas/coasting it unlocks correct? I know hptuners you can set it to stay locked off gas. Efilive I don't know.
