Is there a workaround in the tune to keep the car is SD and not have a failed MAF DTC? I tried setting the MAF DTC's to "no error reported" and car would fire but then just die. I'd prefer not to have to switch back to MAF for inspection. Thanks

I am SD tuned and I have a MAF tune to drive to the inspection place and back home. I don't know of a way to "not" fail the maf and still run. I keep a maf and tube in a box until the yearly inspection and swap tunes. I bet my setup is easier to swap out than a Corvette. If you find way to do it, be sure and post !!!

Can you not just set the maf to "Do Not Report Error" and then it won't store the code?

It needs to see the code to go into speed density mode, there is no workaround. As far as passing emissions in your particular area that all depends on what they scan for, but you aren't really going to see any tuners posting up anything to do with emissions and getting around it for obvious reasons.
