Torque pro I am curious if anyone is using this app I am using this app on my tablet threw a bluetooth obd2 set up is anyone using this app? im curious if there is a way to get it to read the trans temp sense the option is there

Just a fyi, reading Trans temps threw obd2 port takes the reading from the manifold pressure switch which is bolted to the valve body of the transmission. Meaning it will read about 15 degrees warmer than actual fluid temp.

well even with it reading 15 degrees warmer i can still take that into account and actually have some type of reading but it does not seem like the app is picking up on the sensor on its own

If you install the 'Torque Scan' plugin from the Play Store, you can scan the ECM for PID's and see if there's any missing PID's.
Also, somewhere in 'Settings' for Torque, there's an option to add a load of GM PID's that might not otherwise be available.
You didn't say which ECM you had.

Sorry fellas I know this is an old post, I didn't want to start a new one and this totally relates to my question.
I loaded seven or eight different torque pro transmission gauges on my LG v20 phone and the only one that actually somewhat works says between 60 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The coolant temp and numerous other gauges work fine, it's just the transmission temp or fluid gauge I'm looking for. Thank you.
