I need the cheapest possible solution to scan and troubleshoot all of the modules on my car, and reflash with stock files (I don't necessarily need to tune anything though this would be a cool option to have) but I don't want to spend over $250 including any licenses and the vxdiag nano pro seems to come with cracked oem software already?... I don't want to have to buy a license everytime I want to scan another car either, as I want to use it to shop for used cars someday.
So far from my research my best options for ALL module diagnostics seem to be the bluedriver(seems to scan ABS, SRS, trans ecm, pcm but no flashing but i don't think it can do 2 way testing?), launch Creader seems to scan the same 5 modules but no flashing and I don't think 2 way testing?, there are some outdated options from drewtech on ebay like the mongoose for cheap but it looks like you have to buy legit copies or find cracked copies of tech2win or gds to use it? Theres a bluetooth dongle one called vpecker XTUNER from autool that uses a bluetooth dongle like the bluedriver but im not sure what modules it can scan (i think the same 5 modules) but this one seems to have 2 way testing to command windows/doors/etc... then theres' the option of a chinese clone tech 2 handheld? Ideally I want something that can work well for my camaro but also work to scan a toyota prius in the future, kind of stuck here as its all alot to take in and im new to it all? Maybe I should just get a clone tech 2 handheld and another cable for toyota tech stream later...
PS. Apologies for hijacking and reviving an older thread...
