Default 98 Trans Am A4 Road Vs Track Shift Tune Help

I apologize if this has been discussed before, but I have been trying to solve this issue for some time and not having much success finding an answer.
Car info: 98 T/A Lq4 Cam, LS3 heads & intake, Rossler T3 4L60E, Yank 3800LS stall, with 3.70 Moser 9" on HP Tuner tune.

I have HP Tuners and have tuned my car's shifting so that it works perfect on the hwy, streets, and at WOT. When I go to the 1/4mile and put on slicks I constantly bounce off the rev limiter before it shifts. I have made a track tune and tried some trial and error and just can't seem to correct this shifting issue at the track. Has anyone had this same issue and if you corrected it what tune worked for you.
Thanks
Kent

Whats the difference in diameter between your every day street tires and the slicks you're putting on at the track?

Everyday tires are 27" 285-40/R18
Slicks are 27.6" 295-50R16

Well, I wouldn't think +/- .6" would make enough of a difference to throw gearing off enough to make you bounce it off the rev limiter before it shifts but then again it was just a shot in the dark guess for me. Hopefully someone can help you get it figured out.

Would there be a difference because this is a 98 and has the slower computer? Any 99-02's have this type of issue?
