Torque Management/Low timing with Trans-brake I believe I removed the torque reduction timing. The OS is a 2002 Camaro. I am the tuner. I am new to this. I am using EFI Live. I have a trans-brake and suppose to be 3600 stall converter. I see timing drop to 10 degrees when I apply full throttle with the trans-brake engaged. I also only see 2200 before the converter keep the engine from climbing higher. Can you please tell me why I have a drop to 10 degrees timing.
Check any engine protection mode settings as that will drop to 8 degrees at ~2200 based on your tune. Also you can log all of the spark related PIDs in EFI LIVE and it will help track down where the timing reduction is coming from. Also look at your timing in the high/low octane tables for what your g/cyl is at that RPM and see what the timing should be assuming no modifiers. Based on your tune at 2200 rpms, if your g/cyl is in the .7 range, then thats why you're seeing 10 degrees or so.
