Default Coolant temp sensor plug - depinning question

Hey,

Not sure if this is the correct section, sorry. I have a 2 wire plug for my coolant temp sensor, can this plug be depinned? I wanted to remove the retaining clip & plug so that I can slide it through a new loom I got but I couldnt figure out how to depin it.

If it has violet retaining clips on front and back, remove them, then with a small safety pin move black finger away from terminal and slide out back of connector.
If there is no violet clip on your connector, you must cut wires as they are pull to seat terminals. Steve

Default Delphi MP150.2

Hi, this is a MP150.2 "pull to seat" connector.
You will require new Terminals with "flag".

Thanks for the quick reply!

Is there any kind of list that states which oem connections are "pull to seat"? I'd just like to know because I plan on eventually cleaning up my harness with all new loom etc.

Default Delphi Connectors

Hi V8, YES use the Delphi Connector book. (FREE)

Most connectors ARE Pull to seat, with exception of the CS & CAS sensors.

You can view the specific connector finding the "lock notch" as front/back.
