Lightbulb Cheapest way to adjust Idle speed?

Was thinking about the Diablo tuner, but was told that it dosnt adjust the idle. My car has been ideling at 1000 rpm before and after cam install, would sound better at 800!!!

Other options.....
-Texas speed mail order tune

did you change the tuning to raise the idle speed to 1000? If no, you have too much air getting in. Try closing your TB Blade idle set screw by 1 full turn.

don't know what diablo tuner you talking about, but the predator does not work on the 1998 cars.

do you have it on a scanner to know its really 1000, and not 800

my car registers 1100 on the dash tach, but is really 800 on the computer/aftermarket tach

one cheap way is to find somebody with HPtuners
I have a 1998 license, but your a little far of a drive away

Leave it alone. My 98 M6 always said it was running at 1000 rpm. It lies. Your gauge is off by 150-200 rpms all the way through the range. I have been watching mine. The stock idle setting is 800 rpms on the 98s, and I don't recommend going any lower than that.
