Default VSS Signal

Hello,

Looking for a little help for the wiring/electronically challenged. I have a '94 300ZX with an LS1 and T56. The ECU is from a 2000 Camaro/Firebird. I verified the wires from the VSS are wired into the ECU (Red Connector Pinouts 20 and 21). I am trying to get the factory speedometer to work. My question is, with a stock GM car - how does the VSS signal (pinout 50) wire into the factory speedometer. This is one wire from the ECU and I'm trying to figure out how it hooks up from the factory, in hopes of helping me hook it up to the factory Nissan speedo. The factory Nissan speedo receives an electronic signal. Thanks for the help!

Give it a little more time. Sometimes it takes a while to get the right person to check in to see the post.

normally they work with a PWM signal
you need to find out how many pulses per mile
your Nissan speedo uses and correct the output
of the GM VSS to that value.
PM me on this I may have the converter box you need.
