2000 Trans am Airbag issue So i picked up a 2000 Trans Am. it was wrecked and both front airbags have been deployed. My questions is, where are the impact sensors located? also while replacing airbags does module have to be replaced also??? thanks in advanced...
I would question why one would fix this if both airbags deployed.
Ive bought a few in same condition and even if running and driving they still became parts donors.
Crash sensors are in the airbag module and frame rails.
you will need to replace those,the bags and clock spring.
Didn't insurance total it?

Why not fix it? It wasn’t hit that bad and I have seen way worse fixed. Insurance did not total it and air bag sensors are not in the frame rails. The damage was all in the right front headlight area. Washer fluid bottle and core support or radiator no damage.
